He spent over 8 years at Midtrans, leading the company’s information and cyber security strategy as well as its risk management efforts. During his time there, Hana also collaborated with local regulatory authorities, playing a key role in supporting electronic payments regulations in Indonesia. Pratyush is the Head of Merchant Payments at GoTo Financial. He first joined Gojek in 2020 and currently oversees GoTo Financial’s suite of merchant payment solutions, including payments gateway Midtrans and point-of-sale device GoBiz PLUS, among others. With an aim to help more micro, small and medium enterprises in the region digitise and access new opportunities, Pratyush focuses on growing GoTo Financial’s merchant payments solutions, ensuring that they meet the needs of all types of merchants – from enterprise merchants to the smallest sellers.
A seasoned expert in the payments industry, Pratyush was most recently the General Manager of Asia at Poynt, a point-of-sale terminal provider. Based in San Francisco, Singapore and Bangalore, he worked on defining products, point-of-sale applications, terminal management and new partner acquisition across a wide range of markets, covering India, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Notably, Jx had worked on Dropbox Paper, before leading the Dropbox for Teams initiative targeted at small & medium businesses. He then made the move to Bytedance in Shanghai, where he helped to set up a new team to launch Resso, a music streaming service.
